Senior Program Manager

PMAT has a long history of delivering successful mission capabilities to the U.S. Navy across our 15-year history. In support of an upcoming PEO IWS program, we have a need for a highly qualified Sr. Program Manager. The Sr. Program Manager will be delegated with the authority to commit the company to specific courses of action, and furthermore is authorized to direct the company’s resources to assure the accomplishment of the SOW tasks.

Job Description:

  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the PMAT contract including staffing, personnel supervision, tasking, and financial management.
  • Perform Project Monitoring and Control, Quarterly Reviews, Project/Resource planning, team tasking, managing direct reports, functional/operational deployment, overseeing program risk and issue reporting, maintaining excellent customer interfacing and communication, completion of key milestones, deliverables, work products and time required internal/external reports.
  • Cost, schedule, and technical performance on the assigned program from inception through completion.
  • Responsible for providing leadership to develop, deploy and administer strategic plans, goals, objectives, and business-related decisions supporting the technical and programmatic direction of the PMAT program.
  • Must be able to identify, assess and analyze with the team, any risk and/or issues that may compromise the successful completion of the project, and develop plans/actions that will remove this risk.
  • Support the development of an organizational structure to support a diverse team of capabilities including program support, acquisition and engineering teams as the program grows.

 

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top-Secret required
  • BA or BS in any technical or management discipline
  • 15+ years of program/project management experience
  • 7+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management in an international program is preferred.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience supporting NAVSEA, Navy combat, or weapon systems preferred
  • Understanding of sensor-netting ecosphere and/or integrated fire control concepts
